Some thirty young professionals aged 25 to 35 – performers and critics from Quebec, Canada and abroad – will discuss and compare their artistic and critical approaches, talk about the FTA shows with other artists and take part in workshops, discussion groups and seminars hosted by veteran artists or critics. The Rendezvous is a great opportunity to broaden their views regarding contemporary theatre, dance and performance art, to share their expertise and to discuss openly with their peers. Joint activities as well as events specific to artists or critics are on offer, and participants will be accompanied by a cultural mediator throughout the project. All events take place in the highly stimulating environment of the 6th edition of the Festival TransAmériques, where participants will be attending a wide range of performances.
