The result of a simple Web search through indices or by keywords usually produces too many answers, mostly irrelevant. Many items are published material only, with no high quality content. Librarians expertise in supporting users in information retrieval will increasingly be accepted as important, especially in regard to quality of an electronic service. Library catalogues, taxonomies, thesauri, classifications by subjects will continue to serve as workhorses for most users.
